Elena Piselli Menghini was born in the town of Cesena, Italy, in 1979. She studied in Ferrara and graduated with a degree in architecture in 2005. After spending a year studying in Seville, she moved to Barcelona in 2006. There, she specialised in interior design and completed a master’s degree at the I.E.D. university. Afterwards, she stayed in Barcelona and began her first professional career.
In 2008, she began working with an interior design studio in San Marino. There, she worked on projects of both small and large scale. She also had the opportunity to create furniture and objects for the biggest Italian design brands, such as Casamilano, Ivano Redaelli, Sicis, Room. In 2011, she opened her own studio, Elpim Design.
For Elena Piselli Menghini, interior design is a true passion. Each of her projects is a combination of harmony and style as well as of comfort and functionality. Her experience in Spain has influenced her way of designing spaces; the inspiration from colours, the warmth of the narrow and winding Andalusian streets and the charm of an innovative and cosmopolitan culture like the Catalan one are always present in her creations.
Her ideas always start by listening to the client's needs. Her skills range from complete renovations to demolitions and makeovers. In each case, the main goal is always the same: attention to detail.
