Giovanni Damiani graduated with top marks from the IUAV University of Venice and has been a member of Italy’s Order of Architects since 2001. In addition to giving guest lectures at various universities in North America, he has had several partnerships with leading publishing houses and architecture magazines, which has allowed him to establish himself within the field.
Giovanni Damiani is also the founder of his own studio, Damiani architettura +, which is based in Trieste, Italy. He has previously collaborated with prestigious firms and companies, in Italy and abroad. He has worked not only in the field of architecture, but also in the field of engineering and plant design, designing public and private projects, such as the Hydrodynamic Power Station and the Electricity Substation in the Porto Vecchio of Trieste.
Damiani architettura + is also specialised in designing showrooms and exhibition spaces as well as managing construction sites of significant scale, which has led it to become a key partner to several multinationals around the world.
