Having graduated from Venice’s IUAV University in 1989, Nicola Chiavarelli has been practising passive, eco-building techniques since before it became popular in the architecture world. Besides being a connoisseur of rural architecture, he is also an expert in renovating buildings in the Alpine regions. He is also a technical trainer for sustainable construction as well as a consultant for the Province of Trento (Provincia Autonoma di Trento). In the past, he has even collaborated as a designer for the National Trust of Italy (FAI). 

Francesco ASTI's practice is characterised by a strong multidisciplinary approach. For more than 25 years the studio has been working in the field of construction and design, personally managing construction sites of all sizes, public sector projects, administrative, building and land registry practices, feasibility studies, public tenders and competitions.

Pasquale CLEMENTE is the professional behind Areazero Design Studio, a creative studio located in Mola di Bari and active throughout Italy, specialising in residential and commercial interior design and garden design.

Architect Donato IANNECE is an experienced professional in architectural design and construction supervision. He heads a family business with decades of experience behind him, and is a member of ANCE (National Association of Building Contractors), of which he is vice-president of the Young People's Group in Turin. The work shown was carried out on a turnkey basis.

In 2003, Giovanna BERNI opened her Art, Feng Shui and Bioarchitecture atelier in the historical centre of Florence. In this creative space, projects are conceived and designed, and external technical collaborations are organised, especially in the field of Feng Shui interior design, garden renovation with artistic installations, and the enhancement of degraded open spaces. This is complemented by expertise in the field of interventions in accommodation facilities (Airbnb and hotels) and in the use of greenery in apartment blocks and inner courtyards.

Mauve Architecture and Design was founded in 2008 in Turin, Italy. Based on collective work and shared knowledge, Mauve is driven by the synergy and multidisciplinary work of architects, designers, landscape architects and engineers. All projects aim to improve their sense of surroundings, identity and relationship with others and the physical spaces we inhabit, whether wild or man-made.
